1. What is the RoadScout Authorized Reseller Program?
The RoadScout Authorized Reseller Program is a simple way for you to share our technology with people you may (or may not) know that can help them improve their business operations. To be successful, all you need is a familiarity with the RoadScout Mobile Tracking service and an interest in helping people improve their business. You don't need to have any technical knowledge as we've made it as easy as sending a web link. You may choose to use your link in many other creative ways too including posting on a web site, a blog, or advertising, but to get started, it can be as simple as sending a link in email.

And what do you get for your effort? Glad you asked...

We will pay you 40% of the first month's total sale amount of the customer that you refer to us. This includes the Activation Fee AND the Subscription Fee (for the first month) for each user they sign up!

So, a couple of quick examples:

  • Our Basic Plan is currently $20/user month and the Activation Fee is $25.
  • Customer has 10 users which comes to $450 (10 users at $20=$200 + 10 users at $25=$250)
  • After second billing cycle (30 days later), we send you a check for 40% = $180
  • Our Standard Plan is currently $26/user month and the Activation Fee is $25.
  • Customer has 50 users which comes to $2,550 (50 users at $26=$1,300 + 50 users at $25=$1,250)
  • After second billing cycle (30 days later), we send you a check for 40% = $1,020

2. Do I have to provide support for the companies that I refer?
You do not have to provide any direct support of the RoadScout system. RoadScout will drive the close of the sale, deployment, and support of the solution. Keep in mind that any additional users that they add to the system over time, also generate commission checks for you. So, you may want to stay in touch and continue to nurture that relationship to grow its use or look for new opportunities to leverage the technology within their business.

3. When do I receive my commission payment?
RoadScout Mobile Tracker is a monthly subscription service. Upon the customer's successful monthly payment cycle (typically 30 days from purchase), we will approve your commission payment. You should receive your commission payment within 4-6 weeks from the date of sale.

4. What should I do right NOW?
Just a few simple steps:

  1. Click Join now! Once approved, we will send you an email with all the information you need to get started.
  2. Log into your RoadScout Authorized Reseller panel, copy your unique referral link and use it in your email, facebook, twitter, blogs, and/or web site for any customer that may be interested in RoadScout service.
  3. Once a user clicks on your unique link and comes to our website, a sophisticated tracking method is used so we know they came from you. If they order RoadScout service (the order need not be placed during the same browser session...could be days or weeks later), the order will be registered as a sale for you.
  4. Your commission will be 40% of that first month's total bill (activation fee + first month's service).
  5. We pay commissions after the customer's second billing cycle.
